Understanding how to navigate around the system is extremely important; because, when you want to add or find something you need to be in the right place.  This is where ‘Context’ is so important.  There are three contexts in all but the Company context is the most important so we’ll start there:

You have found what you need, now what?

Data in TMaSS is represented as objects and each object represents a data type.  The data type could be an asset, document, inspection or observation.  It really doesn’t matter what object we are talking about here, the main thing to remember is each object has it’s own context menu system.  As the context menu system relates to the object type, the functions available in the menu will differ.
