Add a Vehicle asset

Lets try creating a vehicle asset in the Marathon company context.  Pick your own site to create it in and then complete the following steps.

  • Select a company
  • Pick a site, your choice
  • Click the ‘Add’  button
  • From the drop down list box select ‘Vehicle’

When the ‘Add Vehicle’ dialogue box is displayed, add the following data

  • Asset name = your choice
  • Specification = ‘cat’ – a dropdown list should appear, select any specification from the list
  • Pressure Test Frequency = 1 (this equates to per week)
  • Press ‘Save’  
  • Confirm that your asset has been created (Tip: if you can’t see it, search for it)


Tip
If you don’t know the exact specification name, just type the first few characters into the specification text box and a list of available specifications will be presented. If nothing is displayed then no specifications are available in the Company Library, you will need to import the specification from the Central Library before you can use it.
