Add Multiple Assets

Let’s try creating a multiple Tyre assets in the Marathon company context.  Pick your own site to create it in and then complete the following steps.

• Select a company
• Pick a site, your choice
• Click the ‘Add’ button
• From the drop-down list box select ‘Add Multiple Assets’
  • 
• When the ‘Add Multiple Assets’ dialogue box is displayed, add the following data
  • Asset Type: Tyre
  • Number of assets: 2
  • Order number: 
  • Cost per asset:  $5000
  • Specification = ‘4’ – a dropdown list should appear, select any specification from the list
  • Disposition = ‘Spare’ or ‘New’
  • Inspection = 1 (this equates to every 1 weeks)
• Enter the Serial and Asset number for your assets (Keep both the serial number and asset number the same)
• Press ‘Save’
• A confirmation dialogue will be displayed
