Now that your Asset Group has been created and an assets added to it, there will be times when assets are repurposed, decommissioned or moved, and therefore they will need to be removed from the Asset Group. 


You need to be in the Asset Group sub-module to complete this tutorial.

  • Select the company and site where the asset group is located
  • Find the Asset Group you wish to remove an asset from
  • From the Asset Groups edit context menu select ‘Edit Details’.  The ‘Edit Asset Group’ dialogue will be displayed.

  •  Select the asset you wish to remove from the Asset Group and press the removeicon.  The asset will be removed from the Asset Group

  • Press to save and exit.
  • You can confirm that the asset has been removed by reviewing the Asset Group.
