Add a vehicle inspection


Using the vehicle you created earlier (if you have not created one select any available vehicle) from the assets context menu click the “Add”add buttoncontext menu and select ‘Add Inspection’


You need to be in the Asset module to complete this tutorial.

  • Select a company and site
  • Find a previously created vehicle

  • From the assets context menu click the “Add”context menu and select ‘Add Inspection’
    • Add Inspection
  • The following fields will be automatically populated
    • Inspected by (editable)
    • Customer (do not edit)
    • Site (do not edit)
    • Location (do not edit)
    • Date (editable)
    • Inspection type (editable)
    • Weather (editable)
    • Hours (editable)
    • Pressure Type (editable)
    • Inspection Status (editable - this is the disposition of the asset).  NOTE:  changing the disposition of an asset will impact reporting.  It is important that you do not change this entry unless the assets status is required to change.
  • Add Data to the following fields
    • Hours
    • Pressure
    • RTD Outside, RTD Inside (RTD – Remaining Tread Depth)
  • Add a photo to your inspection by clicking the camera icon .  If you are using the web site a dialogue box will appear asking you to select an image file.  If you are using the iPad, you will be asked to either select a photo from ones already taken or you can take a new photo using the camera.
  • Add damage to a position
  • Once you have completed adding damage you will see your entry in the damage list. At this stage you can remove it or add another
  • Click saveand exit
