Resetting or changing your password

There may be times where you will be required to change your password.  This may be due to a security incident or you may have forgotten your password.  There are effectively two way a user can change their own password.

• From the Login Screen
• From the User Profile dialogue

To change your password from the login screen select ‘Forgot your password?’ and enter your email address.  A temporary password will be generated and sent to you.  On your next login using the temporary password, the system will ask you to change your password.

Changing your password through your 'User Profile' is a simple process.  Select your user profile, from the top right of the screen.  An example is shown below.

Don’t press the  button as you will be logged out

Once you click on the user profile button the ‘User Profile’ dialogue will open. To change your password, from the bottom of the dialogue press the key  button. On the reset password dialogue, enter your new password and press save.
