The edit positions feature has been deprecated and is not available in version 2


The Edit Positions details function provides a complete overview of a vehicle, its assemblies and the components that make up the assembly.  Additionally, it allows the user to quickly and efficiently remove assemblies from the vehicle in one key stroke, email (PDF) or print the position list.

To edit the positions on a vehicle, select a vehicle and press ‘Edit Positions’

The following image shows the Position Details dialogue box.  It provides an overview of the vehicle hours & odometer, the last inspection date, each position and its associated assembly, the components of the assembly, the ability to remove assemblies lastly the ability to email or print.



Tip

    If you don’t see the “Position Details” function in the context menu, then there are no assemblies attached to the vehicle.



Removing an assembly from a position is as easy as pressing the remove button.  Once you press the button the assembly will be instantly removed.  You can remove one or multiple assemblies in the same session, and on save you will required to update the vehicle hours as shown in the image below.

In the event that you need to email the report, press the email button, enter an recipients email address and message and press send, the report will be attached as a PDF



If you want to send the Position report to multiple recipients, separate each email address by a comma ‘,’.
For example: email1@tmass.com,email2@tmass.com
