As a user, one important aspect of the observation process, is reviewing or editing a completed observation. The review process is designed in such a way that allow users to quickly scan an observation without having to read the detail, although they can if they wish.

The ‘View Safety Observation’ page is laid out in such a way that all the pertinent information is displayed on one convenient dialogue box, allowing the user to quickly scan the observation and view the detail if required.

To review or edit an observation, find the observation you require, navigate to the edit context menu and select ‘Edit Details’ to edit or ‘Details’ to view the observation.

Edit, View and Manager Review all display the same dialogue box, the only difference being what modification privileges are available.

The Safety Observation dialogue box, is broken up into 7 parts that correspond to the wizard you used to create the observation:

  • Company and operator information
  • Job task being performed
  • Documentation complete and available
  • Safe acts observed / compliance
  • Checklist
  • Pictures and comments
  • Management Review & Approve

As you can see from the dialogue box following, a user can quickly scan the relative information and if they wish, view more detailed information by pressing the ‘down’  button.  Images are easy to view as well, below you can see that there are two images that can be viewed just by clicking on the images.
