As a manager, one important aspect of the observation process, is reviewing completed observations. The management review process is designed in such a way that allows managers to quickly scan an observation without having to read the detail, although they can if they wish.
To review an observation as a manager, find the observation you require, navigate to the edit context menu and select ‘Manager Review’ If you need help finding a particular observation go here: Find a safety Observation
 The filter system gives you a quick and easy way to find all the unreviewed safety observations. From the Filter 'My filters' drop-down, select 'Pending Review'. |
The main difference between editing and manager review dialogue boxes are that the manager review dialogue box allows for a manager comment as well as sign off. To add a review just tap inside the Management review box and start typing, to sign off, click the signoff areas and sign your name using your finger (iPad) or mouse (web).
 When signing off a Safety Observation, the web and iPad work in different ways. The web requires a signature image file, while the iPad allows you to sign your signature directly within a signature dialogue box. |
