Finding documents is the same as finding assets.  The ability to search and filter using the ‘Company context menu bar’ remains consistent across all modules.


The filter menu allows users to filter documents based on the following criteria.


  • All - Shows all documents
  • Archived - Shows archived documents
  • Approved - Shows approved documents
  • Un-approved - Shows un-approved documents

The search box allows the user to search for the name of a document. You can either enter the full document name or a partial name / text for the search to list the associated document objects.

Creating a new document always creates that document in the company’s root site, specified by the name ‘—Site—‘.  

If you want to see if that document is available at site level, just navigate to that site and see if it’s visible. 
If it's not visible, you may need to change it's site assignments by editing the documents object.


To further help you filter your search parameters, the Document Library module also has a sub-menu bar that allows the user to filter by document type, as shown below
